CIVILIAN CAREER
1959-1966: Various sales jobs; the first with
Underwood, selling typewriters and office supplies, followed by a position as
the London representative for a company marketing automobile accessories, and
the last two jobs before leaving UK were with companies involved in the
amusement machine industry. 1966: I sold furniture in a department store,
light fixtures for a wholesaler and preventative maintenance contracts for an
electrical contractor. 1967-1994: I became an agent with Prudential
Assurance Company until the end of 1994 when they ceased to operate in 1994-1999: I continued with Mutual Life of Canada. April 1999: I finally retired. |
