In this undated photograph the horse-drawn vehicles and early model motor cars on the streets, and a steam traction engine in the railway yard would suggest the early 1900s. Comparing the photograph (aspect north-to-south) with a modern map below, it would appear that the streets running parallel with the railway are (left to right) Forbury Road, Station Hill and Tudor Road. Station Road (left) intersects at the roundabout with Station Hill and Forbury Road. Greyfriars Road (right) intersects with Station Hill and Tudor Road.
