The Burma Star and Chindit Memorials.

This was the personal section of my visit. Two uncles had served with the Chindits on their actions through Burma. One returned home safely but the younger one lies at rest in the War Graves Cemetery in Kohima, Northern India. Almost an impossible visit to make now, I can at least pay my respects at these Memorials which are in the Far East section of the site.
