The rains arrived, umberellas raised, we carried on.  For the second year running ‘The Editor’ was unfortunately  caught in front of the camera. I really must read my ‘Manual of Covert Observation’ again before next year.

It was a great pleasure to once again meet up with Chevalier Legion D’Honneur, John Wintle (October 1939), Senior Old Boy on parade along with his daughter (front row left).  A remakable man who, at the age of 93, still drives himself from South Wales to Alrewas for the gathering.

The Reverend Bev John (66A) presented a Holy Bible, received by Frank Westwood (66A), for use in future services of the A.O.B.A.

Keith Bartlett (66C) presented The Reverend Bev John (66A) with a gift for services rendered to the intakes of 1966 which also included a belated bestowing of his College Colours.

Here a word of appreciation for the faultless renditions of The Last Post and Reveille by the Fusilier Corporal seen in the background.
