Saturday. Drum Head Service.
|
|
The
Army Apprentice National Memorial.
|
|
The Memorial
sits in a secluded wooded glade, in the form of an amphitheatre, which provides
an apt setting in which to hold the Service. The congregation becomes one with it as
the seating wraps around the front.
This year, a good number were in attendance for the event, as will
be seen in the following photos.
From the main
buildings to the A.A.N.M. is a tidy distance and so some of us were very
appreciative of the golf buggies which were provided for the journeys,
there and back.
