Saturday. Buffet lunch and A.G.M.

Following the Drum Head Service, it was a steady
stroll back to the main buildings of the N.M.A. for lunch. Marquees nearby contained the repast for
the official visitors to the A.O.B.A. Reunion

For unofficial visitors to the reunion, classed as
General Public, such as ‘The Editor, it was time to retreat to the N.M.A. ’Arbor Restaurant’ and sample the fare
served up there. Hunger and thirst
satisfied we met up with our friend to catch up on news.

Stubberfield. Both members of the
52A intake, we met in February 1952 and were billeted in Room F6. Inevitably there was a parting of the
ways in 1955 and it was to be 2001 before we were reunited, just in time to
attend the 50th
Reunion of 52A in 2002 and all reunions since.
It was time to say farewell once again, Bill to
return to the hotel for the evening’s dinner and entertainment, whilst ‘The
Editor’ cut away to home for prescribed R&R, Rest and Rejuvination.
