REVENGE & RETRIBUTION

CSM Bull WESTON

CSM Bull WESTON, Grenadier Guards, I recall had a bitch that he kept isolated in an enclosed area adjacent to the latrines etc. of the barrack-room spider. Legend has it you 'A' Company boys had your revenge by introducing a companionable dog for an overnight stay. Much to the amusement of other Permanent Staff and Companies, we observed the drama of revenge by the Bull on the morning parade.

It was from the Draughtsmen Training Centre, which in 1954 was given over to a Games Room, that we used to intercept the Commandant’s and RSM’s morning tea bucket being taken to the HQ Offices - an excellent beverage before being topped-up with replacement hot water.
